From idea to action

Having a good idea is only the beginning.

Between an idea and a business, there are decisions to make, hypotheses to validate, customers to understand, a business model to build, and a market to test.

From Idea to Business, from Startups.st, supports entrepreneurs and teams throughout that journey.

We don't just teach entrepreneurship.
We support participants so they can build their project as they progress through the program.
The starting point

What problem does it solve?

Many projects start with an interesting idea, but they still cannot answer fundamental questions with sufficient clarity.

Does the problem we want to solve really exist?
Who is our client?
Are you willing to pay?
What should our value proposition be?
How are we going to generate income?
How do we validate the business without investing too much?
What do we need to build first?
How did we get our first clients?
What do we need to launch?
Are we ready to seek funding?
The program turns those questions into work, experimentation, and decisions.
Target audience

Who is it for?

Entrepreneurial team in a meeting
02

Team developing a business project
03

Early stage projects

Projects in an initial phase that need structure, support, knowledge, and connections to move forward.

Expected outcome

The goal: to finish with something built.

We don't want participants to come away with only knowledge about entrepreneurship.

 STARTING POINT

“I have an idea”

→
Result

“I have a project that I can keep building”

The process

How does it work?

From initial analysis to preparation for the next stage.

01 / EXPLORE

Explore

We understand the idea, the problem it aims to solve, the market, and the initial hypotheses.

PROBLEM · CLIENT · MARKET · COMPETITION · TRENDS
02 / DEFINE

Define

We turned the initial idea into a value proposition and a business model that we can validate.

VALUE PROPOSITION · SEGMENTS · BUSINESS MODEL · HYPOTHESIS
03 / BUILD

Build

We moved from hypotheses to experimentation. We worked on the MVP and the initial market tests.

MVP · EXPERIMENTATION · VALIDATION · METRICS · ACTION PLAN
04 / CONNECT

Connect

We bring projects closer to people and organizations that can help them move forward.

MENTORS · EXPERTS · ENTREPRENEURS · CORPORATIONS · INVESTORS
05 / LAUNCH

Launch

We prepared the project for its next stage.

GO-TO-MARKET · PITCH · FUNDING · SALES · ROADMAP · DEMO DAY
Support model

One program, multiple layers of support.

We combine different mechanisms so participants can learn, apply, test, and move forward.

01

Training

Workshops and practical sessions on entrepreneurship, strategy, business, marketing, sales, finance, technology, and business management.

02

Mentoring

Individual and group sessions with specialized professionals.

03

Project work

Each participant applies the content directly on their own initiative.

04

Technology

We use our platforms to manage resources, tracking, mentoring, and the development of participants.

05

Community

The participants come into contact with other entrepreneurs and agents of the ecosystem.

06

Connections

We facilitate connections with experts, corporations, investors, and other relevant opportunities.

Results

What does each project achieve?

The program is designed to produce tangible outputs.

01

Problem and customer validation

Evidence of who the customer is, what problem they have, and what needs really exist.

02

Value proposition

Clear definition of what the project offers, for whom, and why it should matter to them.

03

Business model

Structured hypotheses about customers, revenue, costs, channels, and how the business operates.

04

MVP / validation experiment

A first solution or mechanism that allows us to test the main hypotheses with the market.

05

Initial go-to-market

First approach to reaching the market, attracting users, and winning customers.

06

Roadmap

Priorities and next steps to continue developing the project after the program.

07

Pitch

Preparation of the proposal to present it to clients, partners, institutions, or potential investors.

Differentiation

What is it not?

It is not a course on entrepreneurship.

Training is a tool. The goal is for each participant to progress in the construction of their own project.

It is not a series of webinars.

We combine training, mentoring, individual work, follow-up, community, and connections.

It is not just filling out a Business Model Canvas and getting a certificate.

The methodological tools are merely a means. What is important is to contrast the hypotheses with the market and make decisions based on evidence.

It is not an automated platform that tells you whether your idea is good.

We use technology to enhance analysis, monitoring, and support. But behind it all, there are trainers, mentors, experts, and a management team.

We don't promise that every idea will become a business.

Validating also means discovering that a hypothesis does not work. Identifying it early allows for modifying the proposal, pivoting, or avoiding dedicating resources to an unvalidated opportunity.

Validating before investing is also moving forward.
The model

Technology + methodology + people + ecosystem.

The combination allows the program to go far beyond training.

01 / TECHNOLOGY

Technology

Platforms and tools to manage participants, mentoring, information, and tracking.

02 / METHODOLOGY

Methodology

A structured process from the idea through validation and launch.

04 / ECOSYSTEM

We don't just deliver activities. The organization receives a complete program with tracking of progress and results for each initiative.
